I am a midwestern boy gone east.

I'm a meditation teacher and writer based here in NYC. I guess you could say that professionally, I am an anti-drama teacher. I teach people to meditate and how to make their meditation practice a central pillar of strength in their life. I do one-on-one meditation training for people as well as regular public workshops and events. You can see more about this here.

I started a firm called Banyan Education to support my meditation work and also conduct humanitarian projects in India and Sri Lanka. Our goal is a world-wide Soul epidemic. Our vision is to see things like meditation and speaking from the heart be as common as Cable TV. We want to see a time when  world leaders close their eyes and connect with their breath before they speak about their foriegn policy. We want to see circles of soldiers sitting with closed eyes healing the impressions of war. We want to see your message in our inbox offering to host a Banyan gathering in your city or home. We are trying to connect as many people from as many walks of life possible with deep meditation practice. I find that of all the therapeutic modalities, meditation is one that serves all the others. It is especially key for people who are into manefesting their lives in a more uplifted, deliberate way (like everyone is here on Zaadz!) I also do a great deal of writing on meditation, yoga, spirituality and eastern thought. I write a blog here (go check it out) and am currently authoring a book. Banyan also partners with Inner Splendor Media.  We have produced a number of products that support people's practice.
