It's Coming- are You Ready??
Last night I felt it- the winter air. It wasn't just cold air it was winter air.... out here in the Eastern United States, it's unmistakable.
For me, the beginning of a season is a good time for a "intention check". An intention check is when I stop the flow of my life for a moment and think about my intention.
"How am I doing here?"
"What's going on?"
"where am I going?"
"how am I getting there?"
"Is this how I want to proceed?"
"How do I want to approach this moment in my life?"
The "moment" could be a moment in time or a place or a person or an event of some sort. In this case, its the season. I will come back when I have made some headway with this conemtplation- for now, I just want to encourage you to think about it for yourself.
How do you want to approach this coming season? For those of us in this part of the world, the winter means holidays, colder weather, less sunlight, less exercise and so on. Are you ready? Are you looking forward to it? Do you have a plan? An intention? If you do, please post it!
Thanks to everyone who made it out to the Yoga of Meditation on Saturday.

Mmmm.. winter air.. See, now when i was little… and even today, when i sense that winter air, my thoughts go in the direction of snowball fights, sledding, spinning doughnuts in my car, and hot chocolate. ;)
